07/27/2007 - Server changes! We're switching over to all new servers. Please be sure to use the links on the listen page to tune in to the new servers. The old servers are going offline this weekend. We will be discontinuing the Ogg Vorbis stream (all-time peak of 10 listeners, just not worth keeping it around.) Expect the bitrate to increase on the WMA stream soon.
05/21/2007 - We've been backhoed! All communication to the Dainbramage studio has been (literally) cut off.
02/19/2007 - No streamripping! Streamrippers will be detected and banned. Streamripping is illegal in the United States (where this station is based) and stations are required to take steps to prevent it. Don't do it! Thousands have been banned tonight alone.
01/19/2007 - Dainbramage premium service is ending Bitpass, the company that handles this service, today announced that they have ceased operations. If you are a subscriber, you should have received an email from them today with details. They handle all the billing and authentication for the Dainbramage Premium service, so without them, that service can not operate. From their email, it appears that things will continue to work until the 26th, so Dainbramage Premium will continue to operate until that date.
01/10/2007 - Web site changes The Currently Playing page has undergone some surgery and is now based on AJAX technology. If you are having trouble with that page, please contact us and let us know what browser you're using.
12/24/2006 - Merry Christmas The elves at Dainbramage have been busy today, installing software updates and upgrades and introducing our new AAC+ stream. This stream is still experimental, so tune in and let us know what you think! Winamp | Windows media player (requires plugin).
07/17/2006 - Fried router Yes, we've had some downtime. This was due to the studio router losing it's mind. We're bringing things back online now. Things like this always seem to happen on a Friday, and can never be fixed until Monday. Happy Monday.
06/26/2006 - Server shuffle Today we did some bandwidth re-arrangement in order to introduce our new Ogg Vorbis Stream. This stream is an experiment for now, but we'll keep it around if enough people are listening. We will also be adding an experimental AAC+ stream in the near future.
03/21/2006 - Happy times Our primary bandwidth provider, American Frontier has graciously donated a large chunk of extra bandwidth for the remainder of the month. This has been assigned to the 128k MP3 stream. Get your fix now folks, because it's going away soon. And remember, you can always subscribe to the PREMIUM service to get 128K all the time.
12/24/2005 - Technical difficulties resolved The problems we reported a few days ago have been resolved and everything is running normally once again. Merry Christmas!
12/22/2005 - Technical difficulties As many have probably noticed by now, the station has been having trouble lately. It all seemed to start about the time of the updates we did (see below.) Now the station has a tendency to crash in the middle of the night and require a manual restart each morning. We're going to be backing out those changes over the next couple days to try to stabilize things again.
12/15/2005 - Maintenence The station was down for a bit this morning to install some service packs, update some software, and do other general maintenence. Things are operating normally again.
10/29/2005 - New music added I usually don't update the news just for the addition of new music, but due to all the other stuff going on lately, there hasn't been anything added in a while. Today another 30 or so CDs were added to the station playlist.
10/13/2005 - Dainbramage Premium Launched!!! 128kbps Windows Media stream with no waiting. The highest quality stream, the lowest latency, and loads of room on the servers for listeners. Join today!
10/11/2005 - 24kbps stream fixed The 24kbps stream has been sounding like Alvin and the Chipmunks for the past 3 days. This was due to a glitch in the new server (see below.) Thanks to Robert for letting us know about the problem.
10/08/2005 - New server up [sorta.] The new server is now running and we're on the air again. Various things have been broken and we're working through the issues. Currently, 90% of the studio is bypassed. We anticipate being back to 100% by Monday. There may be additional short outtages over the weekend as things are moved around.
10/07/2005 - Server fried The Dainbramage studio server (the one where all the music comes from) has baked it's motherboard. After many years of faithful 24/7/365 operation, it now refuses to even POST. Luckily, a replacement server is already on-site, as the old server was soon to be retired. It will take some time to get things going on the new server, however.
05/18/2005 - Request policy change Songs 12 or more minutes in length can no longer be requested. You can thank the person or persons that have been requesting Meat Loaf several times per day, every day, for the past few weeks, for this one.
04/30/2005 - Power Outtage The Dainbramage studio is experiencing a power failure. As of 8:30pm EST, power has been out for 1.75 hours and we have about 10 minutes of battery backup remaining. This site will remain up, however, the music streams will go down.
01/19/2005 - Outtage Update The internet connection to the studio is back up. All streams are up and running again.
01/19/2005 - Outtage The internet connection to the studio is down. We're working on the problem.
01/05/2005 - Streamrippers New measures have been taken to ban stream rippers from this station. Stream ripping is illegal as per the Digital Millenium Copyright Act. The Act requires internet radio stations take measures to defeat stream ripping. Stream rippers camp out on the station for hours and hours, using station bandwidth, to STEAL (copy, record) the music that we've paid for! Stream rippers are internet radio parasites and will be treated as such.
01/04/2005 - Upgrade The 64k stream has been expanded again.
11/30/2004 - Changes to request policy After some careful analysis of station request logs, I've determined that a relatively small number of people are making lots of requests (hitting the limit almost daily) while the "average" user only makes a couple requests per day. As such, the request policy has been updated to reflect the usage patterns of the average user, with a max of 3 requests per day, 1 request every 2 hours. Hopefully these restrictions will allow requests to be played more quickly and eliminate the 3-4 hr backlogs we sometimes experience during peak listening times.
11/28/2004 - Loads of new music added Another 250 songs were added to the station playlist today. For those keeping score, the current count is 7178 tracks.
11/06/2004 - Outtage Update Obviously, we're back up an running.
11/06/2004 - Outtage Update The ISP fixed the actual outtage but seems to have neglected to route my IP addresses over the repaired/rerouted area, thus I'm still down. They are working on the problem. Imagine their network consists of devices A, B, and C connected in series, like so: A -> B -> C. Well, B died, so they ran a line from A to C, bypassing the broken B. Unfortunately, they're still routing data that goes to me through B, where it promptly dies.
11/05/2004 - Outtage The internet connection to the studio is down. It went down about midnight. The ISP is working on the problem.
11/01/2004 - Windows Media stream upgraded Another 100 listener slots has been added to this stream.
10/25/2004 - Vacation over Well, the weather sucked, but it was nice to get away for a while. The station had a few hiccups, but those have been fixed and everything seems to be running normally again.
10/14/2004 - Gone Fishin' Dainbramage will be running completely unmanned for the next 9 days. Dainbramage staff will be on the lovely island of Ocracoke, toes in the sand, fishing pole in hand. You can find out about this annual fishing trip here.
10/07/2004 - Good news and bad news The bad news, we had an outtage today. The good news, we're back up and running with and were able to squeeze a few extra listener slots into the system. It's not a huge upgrade, but any upgrade is a good upgrade.
09/09/2004 - Loss of power At approximately 5:50pm EST the power went out at the Dainbramage Studio. We have been running on battery backup ever since. The batteries are starting to run low, so there's a chance the station will go down soon. If it does, we'll be back up and running as soon as electricity is restored. Thanks.
7:20pm: Power is back.
09/01/2004 - Capacity Upgrade The station has been very full the past couple weeks. As such, another 100 listener slots has been added today.
07/26/2004 - Another Major Outage Well, this time the studio was up, and the streams were up. This web site, however, was taken down by a combination of failures at BellSouth. Apparently they had a fiber cut at 8:30 EST this morning. No problem, right? Fiber will re-route to the other side of the fiber ring, right? Wrong. It turns out there was already an outtage on the other side of the ring due to a faulty switch. One or the other is now repaired.
07/15/2004 - Major Outage The internet connection to the studio is down. Engineers from the phone companies are currently working on the problem. They estimate repair around 11:00AM 3:00PM EST today.
07/13/2004 - Server upgrades Yes, I kicked all of you offline today. I know, I'm a rat. But, I did it in order to perform UPGRADES! Most of the addition went to the very-overloaded 128k stream. Enjoy!
07/13/2004 - Request policy change The station has been getting inundated with requests, so some tightening of the request policy was necessary. Sorry folks, but this was necessary. The request policy has been changed from 2 requests every 60 minutes to 1 request every 60 minutes. The limit is still 10 per day. The timer has been altered as well, so songs will no longer play at exactly 1 hour from request time, but that really wasn't happening anymore anyway. Do the math yourselves... if the average song is about 4 minutes, then we can play 15 songs per hour. At the time I write this, there's 24 pending requests. That means at least 90 minutes until the next request made is actually played. These changes should help keep your wait times down.
07/08/2004 - Welcome WindowsMedia.com users Dainbramage is now listed on Windows Media. The listing needs some tweaks, but I can tell that new listeners are arriving. Welcome folks! Enjoy the station.
06/30/2004 - 24k stream expanded The 24k stream has been expanded. No more "server full" problems there.
06/24/2004 - Ads What's with the new ads? Got to pay the bills some way. You can still make donations using The Tip Jar.
06/17/2004 - Lots of changes Lots of server changes have been made. In short, to allow more people onto the station and stop the connection problems I have moved most of the station over to 64k. This allows me to double the number of available listener slots. So now twice as many of you can connect! There's still a little bit left at 128K, but you will be fighting over it. Don't worry about the lost quality, for those of you that have great speakers and have to have the highest quality, I'll have a new "high definition" service coming soon!
06/15/2004 - Stuff I haven't posted anything for a while so I thought I should. Bandwidth costs are still an ongoing problem. Many people have trouble connecting to the station during the day because the servers are always full. There is usually some extra capacity on the Windows Media streams for those of you that have Windows Media Player.
AllPosters has another 20% off coupon. Not sure when it expires, use code "SUMMER20"
05/01/2004 - Capacity increased As I stated on the 26th, capacity has been restored.
04/29/2004 - New provider for WMA stream In an effort to save a few more dollars each month the WMA stream is moving from Denver to Fremont, CA.
04/26/2004 - Bandwidth All the little cuts weren't enough to make a serious dent in the bandwidth usage. As I said on the 13th, as I cut the number of slots, the slots just stayed full longer, so no significant change was made. Big slashing began today. Things will open back up on the first of May.
A few people have asked, so here's the answer: All bandwidth for Dainbramage.com comes from American Frontier. American Frontier provides the most reliable services Dainbramage has ever had at very reasonable rates. The station budget, which is 99% from my pocket, is the cause of all these cuts, not the bandwidth pricing itself.
04/13/2004 - Bandwidth again Another little cut. What seems to be happening is that each time I cut the number of slots, the remaining slots just stay full longer, so the net result is no real change in bandwidth usage. Another cut was made this morning to try to trim things down some more. Based on current usage we're looking at $280 in extra bandwidth charges this month.
04/15/2004 - Posters For those that don't know, you can buy posters for just about every band on Dainbramage. Just click the [more song info] link on the Currently Playing page for a link. These posters are available through AllPosters and right now you can use coupon code CBZ-GNZ-8U7-Z67-725 for 25% off your entire order. It's a great deal, so I thought I'd share it here. Coupon expires 4/26/04.
04/13/2004 - Bandwidth again Bandwidth balancing is a funny little game. Why does one server get more traffic than another? The world may never know. Capacity was raised on 04/01 and dropped slightly today on 2 servers to try to balance out the usage numbers. Bandwidth donations are welcome.
03/22/2004 - Bandwidth costs The capacity cuts made a week ago weren't enough, so further cuts have been made.
03/16/2004 - Bandwidth costs Here we go again. We've used a lot of our alloted bandwidth already this month and we're only halfway through. Consequently, the total number of listener slots on the 128K stream has been cut 40%. Further cuts may be necessary later on. Despite the huge cuts last month, our bandwidth overcharge bill was still pretty hefty.
03/07/2004 - Power outtage The power is out at the Dainbramage studio. We're currently running on battery backup. Hopefully power will be restored soon, but if not, the audio streams will go off the air. This web site will remain operational.
03/01/2004 - Bandwidth costs Well, it's a new month and a new billing cycle. Capacity on the three servers that was cut last month has now been restored. To try to make sure another cut like this isn't necessary again this month, the total number of listener slots has been decreased.
02/17/2004 - Bandwidth costs Due to the high usage of the past couple months Dainbramage has been consuming too much bandwidth. In order to avoid additional over-usage fees, I've had to temporarily cut capacity on 3 servers today. I hate to do it, but it can't be helped.
02/03/2004 - Servers full I've gotten a few emails from folks having trouble connecting. The servers are staying quite full during the day. Sorry folks, but the Dainbramage budget is maxed out, and as such, I can not add more capacity. I'll gladly accept donations via Paypal or Amazon for the bandwidth budget. If you have extra bandwidth you'd be willing to donate, please contact me! 10Mbps would allow for about 75 128k users.
01/25/2004 - Bad weather The Dainbramage is currently experiencing a winter storm. Ice accumulation is expected to cause downed trees and powerlines. This web site will remain up in the event of power failure, but the audio stream can only operate for 1.5 hours on battery backup.
01/21/2004 - Outtage The station was down from about 2:30am EST until about 10:00am EST due to an outtage of the studio internet connection... again.
01/12/2004 - Servers full Well, that about sums it up. I managed to bump up the 24k stream a little when it filled up, but the 128K is too much bandwidth to go further. Dainbramage needs donations in order to move forward.
01/12/2004 - DoS attacks? Apparently I don't play enough Britney Spears and 'N Sync, cuz some kid is trying to DoS attack some of my servers. I'm told it's been going on for several days on one of the servers, but nobody noticed until today. Obviously junior isn't too good at this. Still, junior may get some help, so server quirkiness is probably coming soon.
01/09/2004 - No joy in Muddville The new ISP seems to be as mediocre as the old one so far. *sigh* They're supposed to contact me between 1:30 and 2:00 about doing a line test. They did some testing a little while ago that knocked us offline for a few minutes. I'm going to switch back to the old connection now so that the new one will be free for them to beat into submission. Sorry for all the connection drops folks, obviously I just can't win here.
01/09/2004 - Requests fixed Sorry folks, when I switched things over to the new ISP last night I forgot to change the IP info on the request scripts. It's fixed now.
01/08/2004 - New studio ISP! Well, it got in a day early. We're now broadcasting on the new connection. Hopefully this will smooth things out once and for all.
Well, how about that... 10 minutes after posting the above the old connection died again. I guess I got it going just in time. A quick check at the Network Status page of the old provider says they'll be doing "planned maintenence" for the next 6 hours. Funny how this "planned maintenence" wasn't mentioned on this same status page this afternoon. It has been suggested that they "planned" this maintenence after their router caught fire... I tend to agree.
01/06/2004 - Getting there Yesterday's problems are temporarily resolved, but performance on the studio connection is still very poor. I'm looking forward to the new connection. Also, server changes are wrapping up. Expect the server in Houston to be going offline in the near future as that capacity has been moved to Dallas. One of the servers in Fremont is also gone, also moved to Dallas.
01/05/2004 - ISP problems Yes, the station is hosed today. It's due to ISP problems at the studio, AGAIN. The good news is, I'm scrapping that ISP. New service should be online by the end of the week. The bad news is, the new service is substantially higher cost. :(
12/30/2003 - And more changes These changes should be pretty transparent to anyone using the links on the web site. If you've bookmarked the streams in your player, please don't. You'll be unable to listen when server changes occur. Bookmark the web site and always have the most up-to-date links. The current changes have been a shifting of capacity between servers. More of this will occur as I try to increase capacity and lower costs.
12/24/2003 - More changes Ok, so I'm actually posting this on the 23rd, so sue me. The site was moved to a new web server today. That broke a lot of things for a while. I think it's all fixed, but if you find something awry on the site, drop me a line and let me know. The server order has also been changed. For those that are curious (or just nosey) the new server in Dallas is now the main machine and all others pick up the stream from there. It seems to work better than trying to push the stream all the way to Fremont then back again.
12/23/2003 - Server changes Well, it took much longer than expected, but the LA server's replacement is online. The LA server has been offline since the 4th of December. More changes are coming, so stay tuned.
12/02/2003 - More server changes coming The Los Angeles server seems to be the least stable of the current server lineup, so it's being replaced. The new bandwidth will come from adding another server to the current one in Texas.
11/20/2003 - Skipping problem I'm sure many of you noticed music skipping today. This has been fixed. It was an issue with the transition from Chicago to Fremont.
11/19/2003 - 128K MP3 servers down From the studio, the music stream travels to the Chicago server. All the other servers pick up the stream from Chicago. Chicago is currently down. I've contacted support and hope to have this resolved soon.
UPDATE: Problem solved, servers are coming back online. The Chicago server is no more. This role is now filled from Fremont, CA.
11/17/2003 - Spammers should be shot 'Nuff said.
11/05/2003 - Los Angeles server back up The LA server seems to be back up. It did pop back for a while last night before going down again though. Hopefully this time it will remain up.
11/04/2003 - Los Angeles server down This server went down around 1:00pm EST today. I've contacted the provider, but don't have an ETR yet.
10/27/2003 - New way to donate. You can now make donations via Amazon.com in addition to PayPal. Now all of you that don't like PayPal have no excuse. :)
These donations are really needed folks. I've reached my limit. I simply can not put any more money into the station on a monthly basis. There are thousands of you that listen. How much did you tip the waiter/waitress when you went out to lunch/dinner today? That was for what? Maybe an hour's worth of service? How many hours do you listen to Dainbramage? Isn't Dainbramage worth a couple bucks? As I said on the Why Donate page, $1/month or $12/year would go a very long way.
10/19/2003 - Back! Now I need a vacation from my vacation. Lots of catching up to do.
All of the listen links have been changed behind the scenes. If you have any trouble with any of these links, please contact me ASAP!
10/10/2003 - Gone Fishin' Dainbramage will be running completely unmanned for the next 8 days. Dainbramage staff will be on the lovely island of Ocracoke, toes in the sand, fishing pole in hand. You can find out about this annual fishing trip here.
09/18/2003 - Hurricane!!! For those that don't know, Hurricane Isabel is currently marching towards Dainbramage. These storms are unpredictable, so there's no telling what effect it may have on the station. Most likely, we will lose power and the station will go down. This web site, however, should remain up. The station will be running on full automation, as I will have my hands full with the storm itself.
09/10/2003 - New stuff I decided to keep that new server in TX (see below.) More music has been added to the playlist. Of course, I'm always adding new music. For anyone that may be curious, 6,124 songs is the current count.
09/08/2003 - Another Server You may have noticed the new server in Houston, TX pop up over the weekend. Right now this is just a test to see what the bandwidth is like. So far, it seems pretty stable. Chances are I'll keep it.
09/05/2003 - Extra Capacity A new server has been added. Let me know how it works.
09/03/2003 - General news I haven't updated the news for a while. I figured it was about time. First of all, Dainbramage needs bandwidth, badly. The "new" Chicago server is gone, the old NY server is gone. If you've got a few mbps of extra bandwidth laying around, contact me!
Things I missed announcing: New faster playlist search. New faster playlist browsing. Posters are available from the More Info page.
Time for a new rant: It seems that some people still think that they have the right to complain about this station when something they don't like happens. As usual, these are people who have never donated a dime, and spend hours listening, using the bandwidth I pay for, listening to the music I pay for, and racking up royalties for me to pay for. If you don't like what you hear, go listen somewhere else!
07/21/2003 - Server changes The old Chicago server is gone. The new Chicago server is up. The NC 128K stream is gone. The NC 24k stream has increased capacity. Additional capacity for the 128K stream should be coming online tomorrow.
07/14/2003 - Bitrates back to normal Our server maintenance was completed this morning. We have resumed streaming at 128K.
07/12/2003 - Bitrate reduction Unfortunately, it looks like we have to wait until Monday to finish up this server maintenance. We'll move back to 128K at that time. We appreciate your patience.
07/11/2003 - Temporary bitrate reduction! We need to free up some bandwidth temporarily while we re-arrange the servers. The 128k stream will be reduced to 64K. Hopefully this will only last a couple hours.
07/11/2003 - Ooops! Well, last night some idiot (namely, me) forgot to put the station back on "Auto" after leaving for the night. Brilliance, sheer unadulterated brilliance. Oddly enough, there were still 30 people connected listening to "dead air" this morning. Now THAT is dedication! :)
07/09/2003 8:00pm EST - Power's back The power is back. *There was much rejoicing* Yay.
07/09/2003 7:45pm EST - Possible outtage coming Due to some heavy thunderstorms in our area, the studio is without power. We've been running on our battery backups for about an hour now, and we only have another half hour of runtime remaining. If we do lose power, rest assured we'll be back in the air just as soon as the electricity starts flowing again.
07/09/2003 - Outtages We've been having ISP problems at the studio again. One outtage lasted 30 minutes. There've been 3 more after that lasting only about a minute each.
06/21/2003 - New web site launched!!! The new Dainbramage web site has been launched! Special thanks to Don Phillips for his design and all his help.
06/19/2003 - iTunes is back Dainbramage has been re-listed in iTunes.
06/16/2003 - iTunes anyone? I got a couple emails over the weekend from some Mac users that said I've disappeared from the iTunes station list. If any of you happen to have any contact info for anyone at iTunes, please let me know so my Mac audience can find their way back home.
06/09/2003 - Upgrades!!! The 24k MP3 stream is now MP3Pro enabled. MP3Pro is backward compatible with standard MP3, so those of you listening with a non-MP3Pro player will still hear the same old thing. Please go download the MP3Pro plugin for your player and let me know how it sounds!
The 128K streams have been upgraded to a new codec.
The Windows Media stream has been upgraded to WMAv9!
06/04/2003 - Short Outtage We had a short outtage of the web site, NC 128k stream, and the 24k stream. The outtage lasted about 15 minutes and seems to be resolved.
05/30/2003 - Advertisements I'm looking into adding advertising back to the station. I know that no one really likes ads, but the current donation rate is not coming close to paying for station expenses. The trade-off is simple, 3 minutes per hour of ads, or "Server Full" "Server Full" "Server Full" "Server Full." Let me know what you think.
05/22/2003 - Outtage We went down about 4:00am EST and came back up about 10:00am EST due to (yet another) ISP outtage at the studio.
05/01/2003 - First Donation! Special thanks to Rick Barton for making the first donation to Dainbramage. This marks the first donation from a general listener, and not someone I know personally.
04/30/2003 - Sweden is back up... sorta Apparently, the problems in Sweden are pretty severe (in case the 21 days of downtime in the last month wasn't enough of a clue.) They have now moved my stream to New York, NY. The good news, at least the capacity is back. The bad news, it's not quite as "close" to the european listeners.
04/29/2003 - Outtage Sorry folks, we were down from sometime last night (around midnight EST) until about 11:00AM EST. Our studio ISP was doing some "planned maintenance" then had a couple outtages, then had more "planned maintenance." I hate them, and would be more than happy to switch to another, but the studio is a little remote, and affordable connectivity options are few and far between. Until listeners start making donations, I simply can't afford to change.
04/25/2003 - Increased capacity The folks in Sweden haven't even responded to my emails reporting the outtage after 27 hours. They've provided me with a whopping 30% uptime this month. As such, I have made arrangements with another provider to increase capacity to compensate. This adjustment should occur this afternoon, around 3:00pm EST.
04/24/2003 - Outtage Sweden is down again. Hopefully it won't take 2 weeks to get it fixed this time. The WMA stream was having some issues with skipping and buffering this morning, but it appears to be clearing up as I write this.
04/15/2003 - Damn Swedes Well, it took almost two weeks, but the Swedish server is back up. I'm not a happy camper.... but they're cheap, and until the donation / tip jar starts getting nice and full, I'll have to make do.
04/01/2003 - Outtage The server in Sweden is down. The ISP is working on the problem.
03/30/2003 - Outtage Right at midnight, the power went out at the Dainbramage studio. We've been running on battery backup for the past hour, but the batteries are getting rather low. I'm going to have to take the station off the air until power is restored.
03/14/2003 - ACK! Folks, despite my RANT below about the person bitching about things not working... Do, please, let me know if you find something broken on the site. I just found (and fixed) the Chicago RealPlayer link. It's probably been broken for quite some time. There is a big difference between notifying me of a problem and bitching.
03/13/2003 - New chat room! I finally got rid of that old chat room and replaced it with something much better. Check it out!
03/12/2003 - Site work. Abuser detected. While working on some behind-the-scenes aspects of the Dainbramage.Com site today, I noticed something unusual. It seems that I've had over 275,000 website requests from a single IP address over the course of February and March. Needless to say, they're now banned. I don't know why they decided to pound on my webserver for a month, but it's not my problem anymore. The IP was 208.51.174.232 for those of you who are interested.
03/10/2003 - added capacity on WMA servers. Those of you that listen via WMA will be glad to know that I've upgraded the capacity of that stream. No more "server full" messages, at least for the time being. Unfortunately, due to the cost of hosting at the current WMA provider, I'm probably going to have to move that stream to a new provider in the near future.
03/09/2003 - RANT TIME! It seems that my ISP has been having a few issues lately. As annoying as it is, it's nothing new. What is new is the emails I got while the streams were down. I want to make it abundantly clear that NO ONE has the right to bitch at me about the stream being down. To date, 1 person, ONE, has made a donation to this site. Meanwhile, I continue to spend thousands of dollars to keep this site up, running, legal, and free for your use. So, if you haven't donated, and you'd like to complain about something, I suggest you save the energy and go find some other person to leech off of.
03/06/2003 - New album cover images and purchase links. Over the next few days I'll be adding album cover images and links to purchase CDs to the site. The album covers will be visible for the currently playing song by clicking the [more song info] link on the Currently Playing page. You will also see the re-appearance of the CDNow button. As most of you may know, Amazon.com now handles all of the order processing for CDNow, so these buttons will go to Amazon. I'll probably change the button one of these days, but I'm too tired to bother at the moment. If you like what you hear, please support the artist(s) (and this station) by buying the album via these links.
